Our adventure began with a fun road trip through steep mountain passes that offered breathtaking views of the Pacific coastline. The drive itself was worth the trip—rolling mountains on one side, lush blue beaches on the other. Truly, the scenic road trip to Casiguran is one for the books.
With the windows down and music on, every turn of the winding road revealed new surprises. It was the perfect start to what would be an unforgettable road trip.
⛺ Camping at Paradiso de Casiguran
Arriving at Paradisi de Casiguran, we pitched our tent right by the beach, making it the perfect car camping accommodation. With the sound of waves in the background, we felt instantly at peace.
The site even had piso wifi—a quirky reminder that while we were far from the city, we could still share our adventure online. But the real beauty here wasn’t found on a screen—it was all around us.
At night, the beach came alive with stars. We spotted Venus shining bright above us and watched as rain clouds drifted across the ocean, patiently waiting for the moon to rise.
🌊 Tibu Tidal Pool Adventure
The highlight of our Casiguran trip was definitely the Tibu tidal pool (also called the Tibo tidal pool by locals). Nestled between rocks, this natural wonder is a hidden gem of Aurora.
We spent hours swimming and relaxing in the crystal-clear water of the tidal pool. It was refreshing, unique, and absolutely Instagrammable. The way the sunlight sparkled across the water made it look almost magical.
